Scope of Job
- RCM is looking for a QC Laboratory Specialist for our biotech / pharmaceutical client in Puerto Rico.
- Responsible for the execution of instrument commissioning and qualification activities according to approved protocols.
- Installation, calibration, operational qualification, software qualification and system decommissioning.
- Sets up the documentation required for these activities in consultation with the QC Laboratory and Quality Assurance teams. Documentation includes risk assessments, change plans, validation plans and qualification protocols.
- Laboratory instruments: HPLC, UPLC, TOC analyzer, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, FT-IR Spectrometer, Particle Counter, Oven, Glassware washer, Purified water system.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge with labs instruments
- Proficient in English and Spanish language (oral and writing).
- Bachelor's degree & 4 years of Quality experience. Chemical/Chemistry education is highly preferred.
