QC Inspector
Position Type: Contract
Position Location: Allentown, PA
Position Salary: $21/Hour
Shift:
B shift. 8.5-hour shifts: Sunday-Thursday. 2:45pm-11:15pm
or
C shift: 8.5 hour shifts: Tuesday-Saturday: 10:45pm-7:15pm
Responsibilities:
Performs repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts, units, equipment or materials.
Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required.
Performs audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained.
Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing.
Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
Assists in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists
Additional Information/Specific Skill Set: Quality Control, Manufacturing, Data Integrity, Candidate must be flexible and willing to go in if a peer calls in.
Requirements:
High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate's or technical degree preferred.
0-2 years related experience required in a similar background
