The Role
The successful candidate will analyze semiconductor materials in support of production qualification.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Analyze raw materials, intermediates, and final products following company processes and procedures.
- Completes a high volume of work with limited supervision.
- Ensures all SOP's and Quality Control Procedures are followed.
- Investigate non-compliance test results to assure the substance meets internal and external specifications.
- Maintains a high level of customer service and a team environment with QC Lab and Site members.
- Schedules workload efficiently; verifies all necessary tests are completed in a timely manner.
- Review analytical long-term stability charts to assure laboratory equipment meet fit-for-use criteria.
- Perform troubleshooting repairs and maintenance activities.
- Review and update laboratory documents consistent with Good Laboratory Practices.
- Focuses on quality and integrity of samples in accordance with strict purity guidelines.
- Monitors product quality throughout testing
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related degree such as Biochemistry, Biology, Physics, or Mathematics with 1-2 years’ experience in a production lab environment.
- Instrumentation experience required: ICP/MS.
- Instrumentation experience preferred: IC, GC, and GC-MS
- Experience using Good Lab Practices.
- Statistical based software experience preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle change in priorities.
- Good communication skills within different functional groups.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
- Must have a valid California drivers’ license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

PAY RANGE: The pay range for this role is estimated at $75,000/yr. - $85,000/yr. with actual wage based on candidate’s qualification.
