Summary:
In this role, you will be part of a team working to develop solutions enabling the business to leverage data as an asset at the bank. As a QA Test Analyst Senior, you will work to develop test strategies and test plans for Data Warehouse projects ensuring all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, working closely with multiple technologies teams across the enterprise. You will also execute test cases and communicate status to project team members and key stakeholders. Key technologies include Snowflake, Python, DataStage, and Tableau.
Duties and responsibilities:
+ Actively participate in the review of project requirements, data mappings and technical design specifications.
+ Analyze requirements and develop test cases to ensure full test coverage in Azure DevOps.
+ Develop test strategy for complex projects and define pre-requisite components to establish and enable the right testing model.
+ Write complex SQL queries per business rules and transformations to support test execution.
+ Implement automated and/or manual testing processes to execute test cases for data related projects (data warehouse, data marts, etc.).
+ Provide leadership through all phases in project and provide guidance to testers.
+ Schedule testing touchpoint meetings and communicate ongoing status on progress, defects, and risks through the project lifecycle with project team members and stakeholders.
+ Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to define or enhance QA process and mentor testers.
+ Ability to work in very fast paced and dynamic environment.
+ Ability to lead multiple complex projects and solid understanding of agile methodology.
+ Coordinate test execution with other application teams and UAT partners.
+ Collaborate with the project team on defect analysis and triage.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of QA testing experience testing within a data warehouse environment.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience analyzing data, troubleshooting data issues, and creating action plans to address data quality issues.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience writing SQL queries.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in the financial services (banking) industry.
+ Experience writing Unix commands.
+ Exposure to Infogix dashboard and file mockup for negative checks.
+ Experience using technologies such as Datastage, Python, ASG Zena, Putty, Winscp, Tableau, Azure DevOps.
+ Experience with JSON, XML, Mainframe, VB scripting.
