We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Tester to join our team. This role involves thoroughly testing software products to identify bugs, report issues, and ensure that our software meets all quality standards before release. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
- Partner with software developers to identify and fix bugs.
- Analyze test results, report to the development team, and advise on improvements.
- Review and analyze system specifications.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
- Experience in QA methodology.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills.
