The individual must possess the experience to develop test plans/test cases/test scripts and to execute and record results using test tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred
- Electric utility industry experience is a plus
- Experience with advanced metering systems is a big plus
- Oracle Customer Care & Billing experience is a plus
- Must be very flexible and willing to work shifts that include late hours and weekends.
QA Job Description:
The individual must possess the experience to develop test plans/test cases/test scripts and to execute and record results using test tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Review business, functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Identify testing requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage.
- Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like detailed test scripts, test data, and test results.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to the workstream lead.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Isolate, replicate, and report defects in ALM/QC and validate defect fixes.
- Ability to create clear, concise detail oriented test cases/scripts.
Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.
Able to work with a wide variety of personalities in a diverse work environment - Self-motivated and flexible to work in a fast-paced environment, with "hands on” team player approach
- Good written and oral communication skills, presentation and other customer-facing skills
- Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to render good judgment and sound decisions or seek advice from peers or superiors
- Able to manage workload in a timely manner in order to meet deadlines
- Able to accept constructive coaching and counseling
- Possesses a demonstrated proficiency with testing tools Client ALM, and all Microsoft Office applications
