Job Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all QA deliverables that are produced by the QA team; including the management of Vendor and partner deliverables and cross program project QA dependencies
- Accountable for management of all QA personnel; including the assignment and reconciliation of resources across all work-streams for the program
- Responsible to establish performance objectives and conduct appraisals, work with full-time staff in development, training and coaching.
- Directs large-scale, complex QA streams; often involving multiple internal and external components and matrix partners
- Defines and tracks QA milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan for the Pharmacy IT portfolio
- Represents the Group ASG in various project governance and inter-department forums; briefing key stakeholders on status, risks and issues pertaining to Testing and QA
- Represents QA in CR Review board and CR review process at a portfolio level
- Reviews QA vendor management estimations for approvals in programs and project budgets, update monthly budget forecast and actual spend, justify changes
- Manages an effective SOW implementation with vendor partners including tracking to SLAs looking at effective cost reductions and mature state QA methodology implementations
- Proposes recommendations and adjustments to project delivery and related solutions throughout the life of the programs and projects within the portfolio
- Supports the change management process through assessment of proposed changes and impact to QA activities and deliverables
- Manages the processes, procedures, and metrics utilized within the QA organization to ensure consistency of processes across all work-streams within the program
- Effectively collaborates with multiple project managers and integrated delivery leads to create a sound Release Test Strategy identifying clear dependencies, critical path and milestones for testing
- Effectively collaborates with other ASGs and the Test Competency Center to effectively deliver best practices and QA methodology across the organization

- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity.

- Ability to navigate matrixed organizations effectively

- Ability to take on multiple assignments and projects and take active initiative to meet the demands and needs of customers with limited direction
- Ability to identify and implement required actions quickly in order to accomplish goals, eliminate roadblocks, and create focus
- Possess knowledge and expertise in QA practices for various delivery methodologies (waterfall and iterative) and have a clear understanding of human resources policies/practices and change management techniques
- Experience with Client Test Tools and Clarity PPM Toolset
- Influential, focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure and changing environments
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbally
- Demonstrated, applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
