Job Description:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA and QE strategy for the agile projects
- Strong leadership qualities with a track record of managing and developing people and achieving challenging objectives
- Provide testing resources with training on testing processes, test standards, and testing tools for agile.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate required testing activities
- Coordinate testing activities with onsite and offshore testers as needed
- Provide QA/QE guidance and best practices to the Agile teams • Collaborate with the Quality Engineering teams to ensure timely engagement and successful delivery
- Support Test Management Tools supervision (Quality Center, Jira, Version 1) and ensures the standard workflows are implemented in the projects
- Coordinate test data requirements and collaborates with Test Data Support team to create test data
- Participate in Scrum daily stand-ups as needed • Communicate testing progress and status to the projects stakeholders
- Identify testing risks and provides mitigation plan to minimize, if not totally eliminate, the risks
- Create risk-based test strategy and seek approvals of its implementation
- Coordinate testing efforts for the projects that involve multiple applications or portfolios
- Identify and escalates QA issues to the project/program manager, and facilitate resolution until closure
- Coordinate UAT and End-2-End testing activities • Provide metrics for test execution and defect trending
- Ensures a smooth transition from project to BAU is conducted
- 9 or more years of IT testing based environment, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training which permits the candidate to meet entry requirements.
- Experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Protractor
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall testing methodologies
- Ideal candidates will have some working knowledge about QA fundamentals and automated testing processes (ALM, JIRA, QTP, Version 1, Agile, etc.)
- Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude
