About the Opportunity:
The role of QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer exists to collaborate with software developers and DevOps during the product lifecycle to ensure software quality through various methods such as test analysis, automation, and quality metrics reporting and analysis.
What will you be doing?
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, procedures, and schedules in accordance with project scope or delivery dates and to verify compatibility with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Maintain databases of known test defects and produce quality metrics.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input and feedback on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, usability, functionality, or potential problems.
- Participate in daily scrum meetings, providing updates to IT teams on daily progress, potential blockers, and defects.
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source.
- Use data to evaluate and communicate risks associated with the bi-weekly release process, provide release notes to business users, create, maintain, and execute automated regression suites, and perform release validations.

What technical skills are we looking for?
- Chrome Console – able to read and understand the Network traffic, knows HTTP status codes, understands element inspection.
- Selenium – Create, Run and Troubleshoot automated tests using the TestIM Framework. Review Pull Requests.
- JavaScript / TypeScript / NodeJS – Able to read and understand existing scripts and make edits with approval.
- REST API – Understand API concepts and can use HTTP methods.
- AWS – Understanding of cloud architecture as it relates to Echo.
- Web App / Stack – able to troubleshoot issues and find root cause among microservices, databases, and central API. Understands external integrations (API, XML, JSON, SFTP) related to other business teams including Marketing, Accounting, EDI, Manufacturers, and the Business Intelligence team.
What education or experience is required?
Required:
- One (1) year of QA experience
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree
