Office of the Attorney General of Texas requires the services of 1 QA Engineer Automated 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Engineer Automated 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire " and are the property of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Office of the Attorney General of Texas will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
The OAG is seeking talented individuals to help revolutionize the way our Child Support Division manages workflows and delivers value. The ideal candidate will help with the development of software solutions for our Document Generation project by working new and existing testing efforts, investigating problem areas, conferring with users, and determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will shape the future of our agency systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Design and execute test cases, scripts, and procedures to thoroughly evaluate application functionality, performance, usability, and security.
- Conduct system and integration testing to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operation across various platforms.
- Document test results, track defects, and work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution and retesting.
- Participate in the design and implementation of manual and automated testing frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
