QA Document Reviewer - Golden State Foods

Job Summary: Collect, review, and file batch records and CCP records to ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety standards. 

Essential Functions: 

• Collect batch records and CCP records. 
• Review production paperwork and temperature charts for documentation errors and accuracy and ensures necessary corrections are made. 
• Review CCP data to ensure compliance with standards prior to release of finished product. 
• Notify management immediately when records do not meet food safety standards. 
• Place non-conforming product on hold. 
• File production paperwork. 
• Take part in GMP plant audits. 
• Adheres to food safety, quality, and legal compliance. In the event of a crisis (ie., product recall, fire, etc.) Delegate responsibilities as outlined in the crisis communications and management guide. 
• Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or related field of science from an accredited college or university is preferred

An understanding of food safety and regulations
