Job description:

The CBT DCT QA team works in close collaboration with business analysts, designers, and developers, from the project definition stage, through development, and final deployment into production. We employ rigorous methodologies to identify and resolve ambiguities, and to design and execute tests, and certify code. The team supports numerous applications with different technology stacks under the Fraud Prevention and Authentication (FP&A) platform.

Responsibilities:

Review requirements, interact with cross-functional project teams and develop test plans, complex test cases and execute testing in a highly visible, high volume fraud and authentication test team.
Partnering with our application development teams to clarify requirements and identify risks and incompatibilities with design to ensure certification of code with quality.
Leverage web services experience to develop new strategies and tools to enhance and increase efficiency of functional testing
Lead testing discussions with partners to resolve testing challenges and provide solutions to complex test problems.
Work with clients to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology to resolve questions during the testing process.
May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project, including organizing activities with other testers and outlining dependencies from development
Analyze, test, and certify application-specific software and perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements and use cases and functional specification
documents.
Participate in planning and directing testing milestones/schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections.
Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
Document all phases of QA process.
May be responsible for designing and distributing training materials.
Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff including offshore staff.

Basic qualification:

5+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.

Minimum qualifications:

4-7 yrs work experience in Software QA including creating test plan, test scenario and test scripts.
3+ years experience in Batch Framework testing using Autosys.
3+ years experience in database testing, proficient in writing/executing SQL queries with strong understanding of databases(oracle etc), with a thorough understanding of stored procedures, views, joins, and other functions.
Experience working in a financial institution, with knowledge of how customers and accounts are setup in various SOR's.
3+ years of working experience with test tools such as Quality Center(ALM) and Defect tracking tool.
Must be willing and ability to work with remote teams across different time zones and adjust work schedule as needed.
Can demonstrate a strong understanding of multiple operating systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Mainframe systems.
3+ years experience in creating test plans, test design, test script, and test automation
3+ years experience in browser/OS testing
3+ years experience in utilizing XML for SOAP web services testing
3+ years experience in automated regression testing

Preferred skills:

Fraud modeling testing experience (Actimize or other real time risk scoring software)
Authentication policies and rules testing experience (Oracle Adaptive Access Manager, Bharosa, 41st Parameter or other real time authentication rules engine)
Experience with Third party authentication: 2FA and OOW;
Experience with Common Device Identification methodology and practical implementation;
Experience working with culturally diverse teams
Ability to think both tactically and strategically when required
Knowledge of Quality Center
Knowledge of Clear Quest
Experience in planning and supporting a formal Release Process
2+ year experience with IBM ClearQuest
2+ years of experience in Mobile and Tablet testing.
2+ years of experience with Data Warehouse testing and ETL Testing.
CS degree or Equivalent work Experience
