QA Analyst - Insight Global

Job Description A Fortune 500 company in the Greater Seattle Area is looking for a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer that can help mature and influence company quality practice to improve overall velocity and project quality. The QA Engineer will be responsible for QA Strategy, Governance and facilitating the testing efforts for very complex multimillion dollar software development projects. The qualified candidate will work closely with the project manager, project engineering team and developers to design and deliver an effective quality plan. Effective collaboration and excellent communication skills are a must. We are looking for a results oriented and flexible individual with a "can-do" attitude that can make the necessary QA assessments throughout the product lifecycle. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for owning and testing feature areas of our applications and tools. This individual will be a fast learner, a strong QA contributor, results driven, with high integrity and outstanding communication skills. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of IT Quality/Tester related experience required Thorough understanding of software quality assurance and quality control techniques and software development lifecycles (SDLC), Test Automation Frameworks & Various Test Methodologies Experience in Visual Studio, ALM QC, Cloud environment (AWS, GCS or Azure) Comfortable with heavy manual testing (75% Manual 25% Performance Testing) Knowledgeable and hands on in automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, Visual StudioCodedUI, SoapUI, NUnit/MSUnit Knowledgeable and hands on in performance testing tools: HP Performance Center, Visual StudioWeb/Load Tests, performance counters Knowledgeable in C#/.NET Understanding of testing web services: SOAP, REST Able to effectively communicate complex concepts and influence decisions A working knowledge of programing languages, database design, and Program Management skills Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks Embedded Software experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
