Title: QA Analyst
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE ($35/hr on W2.)
Interview Process: Phone, followed by a F2F (F2F a must)

Start Date 2nd week January
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and Troubleshoot issues across production and development environments. This includes identifying cause, documenting issues and proposing and implementing solutions.
- Manage customer support tickets and requests. This includes working with end users, developers and release planners to document and resolve issues and/or slotting issues for future releases.
- Support thedevelopment team with QA and regression testing during release cycles.
- Develop comprehensive, repeatable, measureable test cases for existing and new functionality.
- Perform on-demand support tasks. Be a team player and support the organization as needed.
- Writes and executes tests to validate products and software applications.
- Collaborates with Product and Development teams to identify product and technical requirements.
- Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis towards product testability and verification.
- Assists in identifying viable test strategies in order to support testing product functionality.
- Works with other Quality Assurance Engineers or Software Engineers to identify, reproduce and document bugs or defects.
- Supports trials of new infrastructure designs/services.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have prior experience in a testing or QA role.
- Experience in testing a reporting application a plus.
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry a plus
- Strong, proactive problem solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to work with internal and external customers
- Solid understanding of SDLC principles and practices
- Knowledge of an RDBMS system. Preferably SQL server
- ·Experience with the query language SQL
- Experience with Business Intelligence reporting software. Preferably Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) v11g
- Experience with trouble ticketing tools and bug tracking tools
- Ability to work both independently as well as in teams
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Ability and desire to learn
Desired Skills:
- SQL Server (2012)
- Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) v11g
- Quality Assurance and defect tracking tools such as Client Quality Center
Experience & Education:
- Education Level – Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Field of Study – Information Sciences, Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- Years' Experience – 4 years or more
Type of Assignment: Contract through 2016
