Supplier Performance
- Establishes and utilizes a supplier performance evaluation process.
- Tracks and analyzes supplier performance against key metrics (quality, cost, delivery, etc.).
- Provides a monthly written report to management with recommendations, if any required, for improvement.
- Provides clear feedback to suppliers of performance evaluations and recommendations for improvement.
- Follows through to resolution on any adjustments, returns, replacements, credits, or NCRs.
Role Requirements
- Must be experienced in Microsoft Office software; must demonstrate strong use of Excel, familiarity with Epicor ERP software is a plus.
- Highly-effective interpersonal skills (ability to develop, foster and maintain positive working relations.)
- Metals purchasing background highly preferred.
- Work history in a job shop environment preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to read and interpret engineered drawings.
- Self-starter.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate best terms possible for needed items.
- Work history in an ISO certified organization highly preferred.
