RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and evaluate products, services, and equipment for purchase
• Assess and select suppliers, ensuring the best fit for procurement needs
• Forecast inventory demands, manage purchasing schedules, and control costs
• Supervise daily operations of the purchasing team, assigning tasks and overseeing workflow
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost-efficiency and product quality
• Ensure all purchased items meet company standards through quality control measures
• Manage the procurement budget and prepare cost estimates for projects
• Review purchasing processes regularly to identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Analyze inventory to reduce slow-moving stock and improve overall efficiency
• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, and procurement contracts
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support company objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven track record as a Purchasing Manager or in a comparable role
• Strong expertise in supply chain management, materials management, and inventory control
• Skilled in vendor negotiations and managing supplier relationships
• Ability to design and execute purchasing strategies that streamline procurement processes
