A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PURCHASING & CULINARY SERVICES MANAGER
As the Manager, you are part of a culinary staff with exceptional standards. You are passionate about good food and exceeding our members' expectations. You are a member of the senior culinary leadership team and are responsible for all purchasing for Culinary Services and other Club departments, inventory control, negotiating and managing contract labor for Culinary Services, assessing and documenting the department's Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), assisting the Executive Chef in developing the annual budget and monitoring and reporting on the department's financials and administrative activities of the department. You also will oversee two purchasing team Staff Members who will assist in the daily needs of the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
This rockstar must have a working knowledge of culinary services and food & beverage operations; a college degree in hospitality, culinary, or equivalent degree/related experience; computer literacy in Microsoft Office and basic software programs related to culinary and inventory management; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work and communicate as a leader and team member, proficiency in Spanish is also preferred in this role!
