About the Job
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and manages procurement orders and supports the respective processes, for an assigned purchasing area.
- Maintains and updates documentation and data (such as purchasing master data, categorization and storage of contracts, supplier evaluation, etc.).
- Collects information and conducts basic analyses about suppliers, markets, etc. and supports preparation and execution of RFQs in the assigned area of competence.
- Prepares, executes and tracks purchasing orders (including order confirmation, claims, etc. if necessary).
- May coordinate purchasing activities with involved regions, departments and suppliers.
- Prepare presentations as needed.
- Coordinate tasks and activities as aligned with Director.
- Basic buying as assigned.
Your Qualifications
- Vocationally trained.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- 2 or 4 year degree preferred, but not required.
