This individual will also be integral in the implementation and integration of the Purchase Order module in NetSuite, ensuring seamless procurement processes across the organization.

Position Overview:The Purchasing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing vendor pricing, issuing Purchase Orders (POs), and serving as the primary liaison between our 3PL sites. This individual will also be integral in the implementation and integration of the Purchase Order module in NetSuite, ensuring seamless procurement processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Pricing Management:
- Maintain up-to-date vendor pricing and agreements.
- Conduct regular price comparisons to ensure competitive and cost-effective sourcing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to support operational needs.
Purchase Order Management:
- Generate and issue POs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track and manage POs, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with terms.
- Resolve discrepancies related to POs, invoices, and deliveries in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
Cross-Site Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact for procurement-related inquiries from 3PL sites.
- Coordinate with site managers to address supply needs and resolve procurement challenges.
- Facilitate communication between sites to ensure consistent and efficient procurement practices.
NetSuite Integration:
- Support the integration and rollout of the Purchase Order module in NetSuite.
- Train team members and site personnel on using the system effectively.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and enhance system functionality.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate procurement reports to track spending, vendor performance, and savings opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements to procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and multi-site coordination is a plus.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred.
