About the Job
Wedbush Securities is one of the nation’s largest full-service investment banking and brokerage firms. We provide innovative financial solutions through our Private Client Services, Capital Markets, and Clearing & Execution divisions. We have an immediate opening for a Purchasing Coordinator in our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate must be dependable, organized, and possess strong time management and communication skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Purchase office supplies and approve vendor orders
- Order and proof stationary items: business cards, notepads, letterheads, envelopes
- Order and stock office and common room supplies
- Monitor purchases through the delivery process
- Monitor inventory of stationery and replenish when low
- Process invoices
- Report facility issues to office management
- Schedule monthly carpet cleanings, refrigerator cleanings, and copier paper deliveries
- Perform other duties as required and assigned

Required Experience:
- Associates degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in administrative field preferred
- Previous customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Organized, detail oriented, and ability to work independently
- Negotiation skills experience preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize many concurrent tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly meticulous, detail oriented and accurate

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $55,000 to $65,000.
