Purchasing Coordinator -Japanese Fluent - Dowa THT America, Inc.

Established in 1997 as a Dowa Japan business unit, Dowa THT America, Inc. provides the customer a state of the art heat treatment environment, with fully automated carburizing and nitriding furnaces. Dowa's treated automotive parts are tested daily in our quality laboratory to ensure specified hardness requirements and the guarantee of consistent results.

Reporting to the Furnace Engineering Manager, the Purchasing Coordinator will be expected to:

• Provide created quotations to customers.
• Process received purchase orders from customers.
• Order and receive materials and services from vendors.
• Prepare and process customer shipments.
• Receive and process customer and vendor invoices.
• Record and document all necessary information on products, services, customers and vendors.
• Complete monthly sales and cost reporting.
• Complete monthly inventory.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Must have excellent reading, writing, and speaking comprehension skills in the English and Japanese languages.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to support multiple staff.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong initiative, desire to perform effectively, and eagerness to learn.
• Proficiency in MSN products; Excel and Word.
