Purchasing Coordinator

Our new team member must be an enthusiastic team player who has the desire to learn and grow, thrive in a fast-paced work environment, have excellent communication skills, exhibit strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work independently with a sense of urgency in order to prioritize tasks. 

Daily Activities/Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process and maintain all aspects of routine Purchase Orders. Review, follow-up and expedite orders as necessary 
• Maintain and review purchasing documentation, including PO confirmations and daily receiving 
• Assist in the completion of counting, entering and verifying physical inventory counts for daily cycle counts
• Work closely with warehouse and other team members to ensure accurate inventory levels,, receiving, deliveries and inter-branch transfers
• Responsible in the approval process and setting up of freight shipments 
• Timely and effective communication on purchase orders and deliveries
• Performs related jobs as required in assisting the purchasing team with any administrative functions needed 
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information relation to pricing, sales and customer information

Working Environment 

• Work in an indoor professional office climate
• Required to type and use computer/phone for the majority of the workday
• Heavy computer correspondence/follow-up 
• Dress in professional business attire to present a polished and professional image on a daily basis.
• Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00-430PM.  No overtime or weekend requirements.
