Purchasing Assistant/Storefront Clerk - Entry Level - ASRC Federal Holding Company

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, has an opening for a Purchasing Assistant/Storefront Clerk. Location is Schofield Barracks, Hawaii

This is an entry level full-time, position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- This Purchasing Assistant position requires heavy phone work and emails including calling suppliers and expediting

requests for quote (RFQ) responses and purchase order (PO) shipments.

- Provide quality customer support and customer assistance.

- The Purchasing Assistant will process vendor acknowledgements, collect and review requested vendor PO

documentation, close out purchase orders, receipt and cross dock administrative functions and post other information into

our purchasing system.

- Will review and resolve shipping and payroll discrepancies; assist buyers, storefront personnel, program managers and

other team members.

- Will perform data entry, run status reports, file, customer checkouts and perform other general administrative and

storefront duties as required.

This position is offering a pay range of $18.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Basic Qualifications:

* High School diploma and 2+ years of relevant customer service experience

* Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check for access to the customer site, as needed

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Proficient Customer Service skills

Additional Qualifications

* Experience in purchasing activities, supplier/vendor expediting, RFQs, follow-up with requests, OR resolving shipping discrepancies desired.

* Prior military sales and material purchasing background a plus.
