Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze market trends.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery speed.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain optimal stock levels.
Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.
Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred but not required
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
