Crosby Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, supply management. This role involves ensuring efficient procurement processes to support our plumbing projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms and pricing.
Maintain accurate records of purchasing, pricing, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs and specifications.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Review and analyze purchasing trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
Resolve issues or disputes with suppliers regarding delivery, quality or pricing.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
Manage inventory levels and accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to maintain high performance and productivity levels.

The ideal candidate should possess:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, or related fields.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
With experience in purchasing plumbing products.
Plumbing experience is a plus.
Knowledge of construction techniques and trends.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
