Entry-Level Purchasing Agent
Location: Monroe, GA
IES Residential is a leader in the construction industry, specializing in Multi-Family electrical services for residential projects. We are looking for a hardworking and eager-to-learn individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Purchasing Agent. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student or recent graduate in Construction Management or a related field to kickstart their career.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the purchase of materials and services for the division while maintaining relationships with vendors.
- Communicate effectively with vendors via phone and email to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, vendor pricing, and purchase orders.
- Research material substitutes during shortages or emergencies and follow up on open orders.
- Assist in managing shipments, creating purchase orders, and coordinating branch transfers.
- Provide value by sourcing new products or better suppliers to meet company needs.
- Assist with inventory preparations and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Identify and resolve potential errors in accounts payable (AP).

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for working with vendors and internal teams.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with Dynamics is a plus.
- Knowledge of Electrical/Construction: Preferred but not required—training will be provided.
- Education: High school diploma required; pursuing or holding a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
