Summary: Seeking a Purchasing Agent Assistant with experience in procurement management, project execution, and supplier development.
Job Requirements:

Three (3) or more years of purchasing experience.

Understanding of supply-chain management.

Proficient in MS Office and other computer skills related to procurement records.

Strong negotiation and mathematical skills.

Effective decision-making and planning abilities.

Resourceful with good judgment and self-confidence.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent education/experience/training.
Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate purchasing practices within company guidelines alongside the plant team.

Select and develop suppliers, negotiate price/delivery, and evaluate supplier performance.

Estimate market price values for procurement activities.

Maintain procurement records including purchase details, costs, delivery, and inventory data.

Address issues with defective goods/services through discussions with relevant parties to resolve problems.

Execute purchase orders/contracts within corporate terms/conditions ensuring legal compliance.

Guarantee timely delivery of production and MRO materials while maintaining supply continuity at optimal cost considering quality, service, etc.

Collaborate with Finance to establish standard costs for materials and assess variance performance.

Operate a closed-loop purchasing system aligned with MRP expectations for delivery information.

Manage a narrow supplier base consistent with business requirements.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year
