Client Overview:
Our client is a long-standing government municipality association looking to add a Purchasing Administrative Assistant. This organization is looking for an energetic professional with a strong attention to detail who can be a valued addition to the team. Past administration and finance/accounting experience is a huge plus.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$24/hr – $26/hr
Position Overview:
The Purchasing Administrative Assistant applicants must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for previous experience in working with purchase orders and accounts payables.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Administrative Assistant:
- Responsible for Purchase Order conversions and modifications.
- Reviewing and assisting in identifying errors prior to PO conversion.
- Maintaining vendor files and related documentation.
- Onboarding new suppliers and vendors based on the organizational standard policies.
- Administrative and purchasing project work per management.
Qualifications for the Purchasing Administrative Assistant:
- Ability to work in a professional government municipal environment.
- Excel skills.
- Experience in administration and day-to-day operational duties.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree is a plus but not needed.
