Sr. Public Relations Manager

Location: Culver City, CA or NYC, NY  
Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in-office)  
Pay: Up to $83.10/hour DOE

Planet Interactive is looking for an Senior level Public Relations Manager to join our well known Fortune 50 client on a 1 year contract! This role will be 40 hours per week and will require a hybrid schedule working out of their office in either Culver City, CA or NYC, NY.

This one of a kind opportunity does require experience working in an in-house PR department as well as having strong relationships within media and influencers across tech, entertainment, sports, and or fashion/ beauty. This role will require some domestic and international travel.
 
Senior Public Relations Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate teams within the U.S. and internationally to help create and execute PR and Influencer Marketing initiatives.
• Monitor news outlets and social outlets for coverage and buzz.
• Track, report, and recap earned media value for the various executed strategies and develop reports in Numbers.
• Write reports that are internal facing to provide updates to stakeholders and teams.
• Write PR related copy for news releases, online, and other comms.
• Create presentation decks in Keynote that tell a story of initiatives being done.
• Manage agency partnerships some that are domestic and some that are international.
• Create unique ideas based off of trends and how that could service the brand.
• Work closely with the Product Marketing team and become integrated in the inner workings of the products, technical information, and how the product lines work.
• Pitch interesting work and campaign ideas to the internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple project timelines and deadlines at once.

Senior Public Relations Manager Requirements: 

• 6+ years' experience MINIMUM with at least 3+ of those being done in an in-house PR team.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.
• Experience with Keynote and Numbers.
• Skilled with organization, attention to detail, and can be a self-starter and project management skills.
