Client Overview:
Our client is a premier fitness facility dedicated to helping members achieve their health and wellness goals. Our client offers a wide range of services including group classes, personal training, and the latest fitness equipment. They are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized PT Receptionist to join their team! Scheduled to work 5am – 9am OR 4 – 9pm, Monday – Friday.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$17 – $18/hr
Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for the members and visitors, the Receptionist will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. This Receptionist role involves a mix of administrative duties, customer service, and support to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
Responsibilities of the PT Receptionist:
- Greet and welcome members and visitors with a positive attitude
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide accurate information about services, memberships, and programs
- Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations
- Schedule and manage appointments for personal training and classes
- Handle member inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
Qualifications for the PT Receptionist:
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of fitness and wellness industry is a plus
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
