Psychometrist - Behavioral Health Atrium - Carle Health

Overview:The Psychometrist performs formal psychological assessment with patients under the direction of a licensed Psychologist/Neuropsychologist.Responsibilities:Administers and scores various basic psychological assessments to patients ranging in age from young adulthood through geriatric.Communicates assessment process to patients and family members.Selects appropriate avenues for learning and attends mandatory trainings.Structures the assessments to adapt to patient needs and still maintain accurate results.Performs psychological testing ordered and directed by psychologist. Performs scoring for all testing given and accurately reports and records results. Maintains and orders all testing supplies and new testing as needed. Provides accurate and timely communication with health care team concerning patient testing results and outcomes. Ability to quickly establish rapport with patient of various ages, backgrounds, skill levels and mental health issues.Qualifications:License/Certifications:
