Psychologist - Juvenile Corrections - AB Staffing Solutions

• $5,200.00 - $5,400.00/week
• Monthly Total: $20,800 - $21,600
• Yearly Total: $249,600 - $259,200
• Local and Travel Packages are available to those who qualify

• Valid Psychologist license in the state of NJ.
• Previous work experience in a correctional, psychiatric, or forensic setting preferred.
• Ph.D/ PSY. D from an APA-accredited college or university.

• Schedule: Full Time| 40 hours per week
• Setting: Juvenile Corrections
• Location(s): Bordentown, Monroe Township
• 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend.
• Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts.

• Evaluates juveniles for mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Diagnoses disorders and determines the appropriate course of treatment.
• Provides direct mental services, including on-site counseling, and individual and group psychotherapy within diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Provides substance abuse education and behavioral analysis for detainees identified with mental health and substance use problems.
• Provides mental health treatment to individuals who are present with signs/symptoms of sexual or physical assault, abuse, and neglect using the multidisciplinary approach.
• Provides mental health treatment to individuals who present with signs/symptoms of suicidal, dangerous, or psychotic behaviors.
• Serves as a mental health consultant to other health professionals at the facility.
• Provides education and training to juvie medical staff in the area of mental health to include, but not limited to, suicide prevention, hunger strike, abuse and neglect, and victims of torture.
• Provides oversight and consultation to behavioral health technicians and interns, as applicable.
