Job Details:
- Pay Rate: ($158/hr = $25,280/month)
- Bonus: $3,000 Bonus (Once you start, you'll receive a $1,000 bonus each month for the initial 3 months of your contract assignment.)
- Location: Delano, CA
- Serve as clinician-of-the-day, providing on-call availability for patient emergencies during scheduled work days.
- Collaborate effectively with staff from all classifications to enhance professional working relationships and ensure quality care.
- Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history assessments, and make treatment recommendations.
- Perform clinically sound suicide risk evaluations, applying assessment protocols and ensuring proper documentation.
- Conduct crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews with mentally ill inmates.
- Identify signs and symptoms of psychiatric disorders, assess, diagnose, and manage presenting symptomatology.
- Administer and interpret psychological tests, write clinical reports, and develop treatment plans.
- Consult on complex cases with supervisors, treatment team members, and healthcare personnel.
- Monitor inmate progress and maintain ethical standards in treatment delivery.
- Conduct mental status exams and analyze relevant documents to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Compile and analyze data from audits and contribute to the implementation of new programs for patient rehabilitation.
- CA PSYL License
- PhD or PsyD (Required)
- Minimum of 12 continuous months of experience within the last 3 years performing services similar
