Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a patient-centered approach and a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care.

Responsibilities

Position Details

1. Seeking an employed psychiatrist for a 24 bed Senior Behavioral Health Unit in a hospital
2. Monday thru Friday w some call
3. Advance Practice Provider Support
4. Telepsychiatry Support
5. Inpatient work 
6. Located in Philadelphia

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis for inpatients and outpatients.

Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic support.

Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.

Engage in patient and family education to enhance understanding of treatment plans and support recovery.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.

Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain licensure
