Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Details
- Establish and maintain unparalleled therapeutic alliance with patient to ensure optimal mental wellness outcomes
- Experience with pediatrics population is strongly desired
- Provide empathic psychiatric care through initial and ongoing assessments
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat mental health patients with a demeanor free of judgment
- Provide patient & family education regarding diagnosis, medication, expected response to treatment and potential side effects of medication. Review and obtain informed consent, monitor treatment adherence.
- Provide supportive psychotherapy & psychoeducation as indicated by patient condition
- Order & review studies as indicated by patient condition & treatment plan
- Obtain collateral information as appropriate
- Collaborate with staff and outside providers to ensure comprehensive approach to treatment.
- Provide sufficient medical record documentation to reflect diagnosis, treatment goals and interventions
- Respond to patient & staff communication in a timely manner
- Attend and complete required supervision with collaborating psychiatrist
- Maintain excellent knowledge base of current treatment guidelines as well as employing innovative & developing care practices
- Contribute to workplace enthusiasm by subscribing to a wholehearted approach to living & working intentionally
- Chart notes are prepared for you daily, refills & administrative paperwork are accomplished by support staff & on call provider.
- Daily calls & messages from patients are responded to by on call provider (practice owner). Employed providers do not take after hours call & do not have to manage an inbox.
- Primary diagnoses: MDD, GAD, PTSD, BPAD, ADHD
