Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (1099 Independent Contract)  

Location: Oak Park, Chicago (Hybrid Role) 

Company: A Multi Provider Mental Health & Wellness Practice in Chicago, IL 

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and a commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients 

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans 

• Prescribe and manage medication regimens 

• Provide therapy and counseling to clients as needed 

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records 

Qualifications: 

• Master's degree in nursing with specialization in Psychiatry/Mental Health 

• Current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Illinois 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team 

• Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred
