We are searching for a PMHNP-BC who is able to provide our clients with on-site care 4 days per week on either a part time basis.

Job Summary:
The NP will be responsible for planning and implementing the primary care service delivery to patients per health care plan and written protocols. The NP will provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within a multidisciplinary team. They will work under the direction of the Medical Director to perform assessments, medication management, evaluation and on-going treatment of clients.
Education and Experience:
- PHM NP required
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Holds a current license in good standing in the State as an NP
- DEA License
- 2+ years experience in a behavioral health, mental health, or psychiatric facility
- Experience with KIPU, EMR software, highly desirable
- Complete TB testing upon being hired
- Complete and be within the requirements of Background and Drug screening results
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess medical issues, behavioral health problems, comorbid conditions, and/or need for detoxification
- Consult with the Medical Director and clinical staff regarding clinical plans
- Participate in telephonic on-call rotation with other providers
- Document patient information on medical charts
- Administer and document patient reaction to psychotropic drugs and other medications
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments under the guidance of the Medical Director
- Monitoring the effectiveness of medical interventions
- Assisting in the development and implementation of a treatment plan related to detoxification and/or any other medical issues
- Monitors clients and maintains a safe, protective environment for the clients
- Develops positive, supportive relationship with all clients
- Assist clients in developing and implementing healthy lifestyle
- Implements treatment plan interventions as needed for physical and mental health
- Utilizes all available means to communicate effectively and efficiently with the treatment team
- Completes medical/nursing documentation according to licensing standards
- Keeps thorough and current documentation on all clients
- Stays informed regarding current substance use disorder and treatment information
- Works closely with the entire treatment team, including the program Medical Director, in providing and coordinating treatment for all clients.
- Assists in providing medical and clinical information for concurrent reviews or other insurance matters
- Provides educational lectures to clients and families on medical aspects of substance use disorders
- Complete training or certifications in CPR, HIPAA, HIV/AIDS, Verbal De-Escalation, Incident Reporting, Infection/STD Risks, HEP B/C, and Abuse, Neglect, Trauma, and Exploitation, Understanding SUD, and any other trainings required by the State or the Joint Commission.
