Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree or related field experience in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering.
- Automotive OEM industry or product engineering project experience containing tier 1/2 suppliers.
- Experience in transmission, driveline & axles, or related area.
- Thorough understanding of vehicle functions for general vehicle architecture.
- Understanding of typical automotive manufacturing and quality processes.
- Advanced English language skills 90% (read and write).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and SharePoint OneDrive tools.
- Understanding of Test procedure development and execution
- Familiarity with data collection and instrumentation equipment and procedures
- Triage and problem-solving skills for purpose of test failure analysis
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for 100% of PV (Process Validation) component and system level testing provided by Client which includes incremental reviews with on-going test status reporting.
- Complete End-of-Test report documentation aligning with Client provided template.
- Manage and execute system level DVP documentation based on Client Standard templates. o Client to provide guidance / approval of DVP.
- Immediate notification to Client Engineering team of any test failures.
- Coordinate completion of all virtual System DVP testing if required.
- Coordinate all bench related system testing to fully execute DVP activities within program timeframe.
- Support debug and triage of on-going test issues.
- Support mid-test (where necessary) and end of test inspections with Client Product Release team.
- Client to support the provision of vehicles and other test properties. Any tests, measurements, metrology and/or calibrations within the scope of this project that utilize 3rd party laboratories will have to be in conformance with ISO 17025, or with an equivalent standard which respects the intention of ISO 17025.
