As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the proposal process, ensuring compliance with government regulations and client requirements, and ultimately supporting the strategic goals of our organization. We are seeking someone who demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to coordinate and motivate a diverse team of specialists towards a common goal. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset for compliance and alignment with federal requirements, and the resilience to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal development process for complex federal contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, finance, HR, and delivery teams to ensure proposal completeness and compliance.
- Develop and implement proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and responsibility assignments.
- Conduct regular proposal standup meetings and maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders and contributors.
- Review and analyze solicitation documents to ensure thorough understanding and response to all requirements.
- Manage the proposal team, providing guidance and feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure high-quality, compelling, and compliant proposal submissions within strict deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and submitting federal proposals.
- At least 3 years of experience managing federal proposals with contract values ranging from $10M to $50M.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement regulations and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to high quality, high scoring proposals.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary proposal teams.
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications:
- APMP certification.
- Experience with AI tools used for proposal development and analysis.
