What Youll Do:
- Facilitate, coordinate, and generate business solutions proposals for existing and new clients
- Support the end-to-end proposal development for multi-service/multi-business unit offerings with potential high complexity and high strategic importance to our business. The end-to-end process includes project management, proposal development, compliance matrix preparation and adherence, team coordination to meet internal deadlines, organize and schedule status reviews and color team reviews, and submission of all proposals within prescribed client timeline
- Assist in developing win themes and ensure themes are present and consistent throughout responses; provide a consistent voice to the response
- Use Project Management skills to provide overall management and direction of a bid response by securing necessary commitments, provide visibility of project deliverables, and escalate as necessary to ensure that timelines are met
- Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures with regard to proposal preparation
- Perform detailed compliance assessment of client RFX requirements against current and future product capabilities
- Provide strategy and management for overall RFX response content and messaging based on client objectives
- Produce compelling first draft cover letters, executive summaries, and value proposition statements adhering to client requirements
- Ensure answers are relevant and written well to present one voice throughout the document
- Ensure proposals and bids are compliant with agency specifications and ensure quality control throughout the proposal process under tight deadlines
- Manage post-proposal analysis of submitted RFX documents
- Design and deliver proposal development content and tools for sales teams to use when responding to proactive proposals
- Engage in peer reviews with other Proposal Development Team members
- Engage in additional project work required by the Proposal Development Team and/or the Strategic Growth Initiatives and Business Excellence team (SGI & BE)
What Experience You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7+ years of commercial and government proposal management experience
- Proposal development certification (APMP)
- Ability to work out of Equifax offices in St. Louis MO, Atlanta GA, or Reston VA
- Ability to travel up to 10%
What Could Set You Apart:
- Project management certification (PMP) preferred
- Strong proposal management experience with large enterprise organizations and multiple federal and state agencies is required
- Ability to interpret complex documents and understand and analyze requirements
- Superior project management skills to effectively deliver an on-time response from multiple team inputs
- Exceptional facilitation, organization and communication skills (written and oral); including proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications
- Compelling writing ability to convey the best possible solution for the client, including draft cover letters, executive summaries, and value proposition statements
- Ability to create a cohesive voice for a multi-member team to ensure quality and timely winning proposals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and manage multiple initiatives
