Proposal Manager

• Salary: $90,000 -$120,000, DOE + 2x Annual Bonus
  
• Full-Time/Direct Hire: Benefits, 401k w/4% match
• Location: Irvine
• (First 3 months onsite, then Hybrid during Print Time)

• Proposal Preparation Business Development and other Administrative and Human Resources functions to support our growth. 
• Manage Proposal processes and all that goes into preparing an RFP (resumes, project sketches, company brochures, related documents)
  and Marketing materials
• Work on 2-3 RFPs weekly. The total output of RFPs annually is 130! 
• Coordinating proposal production (from planning to printing)
• Event Coordination including conferences, exhibitions, and internal company events
• Updating company's social media
• Assist in writing, editing and production of statements of qualifications, proposals, presentations and other marketing materials, or assist with such efforts.
• Timely communications with internal staff and external subconsultants and vendors to ensure on-time completion of proposals
• Assist in developing graphics for proposals and marketing materials.
• Assist the Proposal Managers to develop client presentation strategies, including story-telling in written and visual forms.
• Assist in composition of narrative for marketing materials such as proposals, representative project cut-sheets, resumes, etc. using creative and persuasive writing skills.
• Assist in creating concepts for and coordinates production of collateral materials.
• Assist in gathering, formatting and maintaining accurate, up-to-date firm marketing information including staff bios, project descriptions and statistics, and other information for marketing purposes.
• Supports the implementation of corporate PR initiatives, and social media.
• Updates firmwide database with project and proposal information on an ongoing basis.
• Additional clerical duties, if needed

• Intermediate level (5-7 years). However, more is acceptable. 
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business or related field is highly desirable.
• Experience with engineering consulting firms and/or handling engineering proposals are a plus.  
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat
• Creativity in developing graphics for proposals and marketing materials is a must.
• Excellent writing and communication skills and attention to detail.
• High pressure, muti-tasker, works under extreme pressure. 
• Ability to multi-task a must!  
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, being able to work with other staff and outside teaming partners to obtain input into each proposal.
• Promote teamwork and perform duties in a professional and team-playing manner.
