Proposal Estimator (Electrical/Automations) - Alliance, OH - JOB 24-00803

Salary Range: $60K - $80K Permanent Position with Benefits

Our client located in the Alliance, Ohio is seeking an Electrical/Automation Proposal Estimator. Primary duties include producing detailed technical specifications and estimates from RFQs by calculating estimates using your knowledge of machine design.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's preferred.
• Must have 3 years' minimum experience in industrial estimating OR relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in machine design with an understanding of automated systems.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with AutoCAD a plus.
• Experience/Knowledge with Field service and system commissioning is a plus.

Duties:

• Review and interpret electrical documents and schematic drawings.
• Manage vendor pricing.
• Create accurate cost estimates from start to finish.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and occasional site visits.
• Creating clearly written proposals.
• Handle contract and scope review.
• Changes in order pricing.
• Maintain good client relationships and follow-ups post-bid submission.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
