We are currently seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our team of professionals. As a part of the Marketing team, you will assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies. You will be involved in all aspects of Marketing, from event coordination to business development support through the creation of promotional materials. This key player will work alongside engineers and marketing professionals to further BHB’s growth.

Physical Demands
This position is primarily sedentary with long periods of sitting, but occasional walking and lifting up to 25lbs may occur. Occasionally bending, squatting, and reaching overhead may also occur. Additionally, extensive computer usage is required daily.
Position Type and Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position, with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. BHB offers flexible scheduling options, including five 8-hour days or four 9-hour days with a half day on Friday morning. While the start and end times of the workday can be adjusted, employees are expected to establish and maintain a consistent schedule which must encompass the core business hours of 9am – 4pm. Although overtime is not required, it is requested at times. Some marketing events may require a schedule outside of normal operation hours. This is anticipated to be a couple of times a year.
Travel
Some travel around the DFW metroplex can be expected monthly. Longer travel is also anticipated for conferences throughout Texas and surrounding states. Mileage for business purposes is paid for by the company.

The Marketing Coordinator will help a variety of marketing and communication efforts including but not limited to:
- Coordinate the development of SOQs/proposals, presentation materials, and other marketing collateral, as needed
- Help to develop text for marketing material by interviewing project personnel and reviewing existing documentation
- Maintain the Cosential marketing Database in terms of information integrity and implement strategies to best utilize lessons learned (project, client, and resume information are key)
- Support business development staff through market research, market trends, forecasts, and account analyses.
- Assist with the planning and execution of company events, including lunch and learns
- Coordinate the design and submission of ads for sponsorships, publications, etc., as needed and submit press releases, as needed
- Read, research, and respond to awards submissions
- Research and coordinate abstract and white paper submissions to industry-specific associations
- Assist all personnel with any marketing/creative tasks.
We require:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- At least three years professional experience in marketing or business development. (A/E/C Industry a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite and social media management platforms.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
