About the Job
SARENS is seeking an experienced Client/Proposal Coordinator for its nuclear and industrial divisions. This
positon requires the ability to coordinate a dedicated team in crafting persuasive and impactful bids,
proposals, sales presentations, and related content efforts and produce high-quality work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
The ideal candidate should be meticulous with outstanding communication talents, sales
knowledge, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage concurrent work streams.
This position will be in the SARENS Charlote area office with the ability for some remote work as agreed with supervisor.
Specific Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the development of proposals, bids, qualifications, presentations, and
other related sales and marketing materials.
Work with KAMs, Estimators, Project Managers, and the project team to gather appropriate material/information needed to meet the requirements of the RFP.
Consolidate team member input into clear and meaningful responses.
Assemble and package proposals/documents from inception through final product.
Oversee the compilation and submission of all required RFP forms, exhibits, and documents, ensuring full compliance with each RFP's specifications and deadlines.
Develop and maintain corporate brochures, project profiles, resumes and other sales collateral.
Provide timely entry of accurate and complete client and opportunity information in Dynamics
CRM, including tracking outcomes, opportunities, and feedback.
Develop management reports using CRM data.
Maintain and continually update the MarComm Sharepoint site, including proposal and presentation content library, ensuring materials are current, accurate, and organized.
Ensure all collateral is aligned with company-wide branding and templates
Coordinate and track conference and trade show participation, registration, and hotels.
Update Client supplier portals
Other duties as assigned by the SIS Sales Manager
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree, with preference for majors in English, technical writing, journalism, or similar
3-5 years of experience with proposal writing in engineering, construction, or similar
environment
APMP Foundation Level Certification
High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and follow-through
Demonstrated ability coordinating cross-functional teams to a successful outcome
Effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks based on shifting needs
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills using a variety of media
Expertise with MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other standard MS Office and Adobe
software
Proficient with MS Dynamics 365 CRM
Understanding of the AEC industry and sales and marketing fundamentals
The ability to think creatively to find solutions to problems
Determination and dependability.
