About the Job
Property Manager responsibilities include marketing and leasing vacant units, conducting move-ins and move-outs, managing tenant communications, assuring lease compliance, coordinating unit access, assisting our Special Projects team with rent collection and other miscellaneous responsibilities. A person in this role should be a self-starter, enjoys working with people, and has strong communication skills.
Requirements
Leasing vacant units (75% of total time)
Take accountability for a property’s occupancy rate
● Advertise vacant units on multiple channels to identify prospective tenants
● Respond to incoming prospective tenant inquiries from the listings
● Conduct showings in person and virtually
● Follow-up to assure applications are completed and questions addressed
● Create and distribute leases for signature
Existing tenant satisfaction and compliance (20% of total time)
Take accountability for a property’s tenant satisfaction score
● Conduct move-in/move-out inspections
● Handle tenant communications
● Conduct unit inspections
● Coordinate maintenance requests
● Communicate and enforce lease terms
● Coordinate unit access
● Assist Special Projects team with rent collection as needed
Other/admin (5% of total time)
These are the small tasks that are necessary for the operations of the business
that come up, including correcting time entries or attending weekly meetings. It is
expected that these tasks are completed consistently without the need for follow-
up.

Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Assist the leasing agent and property management team with daily administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and scheduling. Tenant Communications: Serve as a point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries and providing information about lease terms, due dates, and property policies. Documentation: Prepare and manage documentation such as lease agreements, eviction notices, and other relevant paperwork. Reporting: Generate and maintain reports related to tenant occupancy, lease renewals, and other key metrics. Maintenance Requests: Receive and log maintenance requests from tenants, ensuring timely communication with the maintenance team. Event Support: Help organize and support community events and activities to enhance tenant engagement and satisfaction. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records and files.
