As our portfolio continues to grow, Integrated Operations Network (ION)! Mark-Taylor is hiring a Property Financial Operations Administrator.
As the Property Financial Operations Administrator, you will work as member of Mark-Taylor’s Integrated Operations Network (ION) and assists the Manager of Community Operations, based out of our Corporate Office located in the McCormick Ranch neighborhood of Scottdale, Arizona.
You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:
- Assist with management and oversight of Mark-Taylor ION property financial operations team in coordination with on-site teams.
- Coordination with the Manager of Property Financial Operations and Director of ION in developing standard operating procedures and on-site financial operation policies.
- Assist with various community-specific financial operations activities, such as daily bank deposits, record collection activity, daily input of rent payments, move-ins, move-outs, cancellations, and monthly financial preparation.
- Provide processing and auditing assistance with ledgers and legal notices for non-payment of rent, non-compliance resident notices, etc.
- Assist in auditing and proofreading property lease and renewal documents.
- Review and audit Purchase Order and Accounts Payable invoice entry/activity with the Manager of Community Operations.
- Continuous review and audit of month-end close for all assigned properties with the Manager of Community Operations and Accounting.
- Assist with the preparation of resident move-outs and final account statement preparation for assigned communities.
- Assist with resident ledger and financial reporting research as needed.
- Assist with accounting & operational report preparation as needed.
- Provide and promote service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
- Other duties as assigned
We're Excited to Meet You! Ideally, You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 1+ years of on-site operations, including financials and reporting and/or financial operations experience in multi-family or related industry
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional organization skills and process-oriented
- Self-motivated, nimble, and highly results-driven in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Resourceful, problem -solving mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Advanced proficiency in property management software is preferred (RealPage, Resman, Yardi, or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The starting hourly pay rate for Assistant Community Manager is $25.00. This position is eligible for monthly bonuses.
