Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and needed repairs in order to maintain properties in a first-class manner.
- Conduct repairs on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance. Experience with patching and basic repairs of TPO roofs is of significant benefit.
- Be familiar with painting interior and exterior spaces.
- Oversee and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruptions to operations. Maintain records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventory of supplies.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and manage inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Provide support for facility improvement projects and renovations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
- Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service-oriented
- Valid California driver’s license
- Must be physically able to perform manual labor and lift/carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
