Position Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join their Property and Casualty Insurance Group in Orlando, FL. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to manage substantive litigation cases involving complex property and casualty insurance matters, including first-party insurance and bad faith litigation.
Core Requirements:
- Educational Background: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on civil litigation in state court. First-party insurance and bad faith litigation experience preferred.
- Licensing: Active Florida Bar license.
- Additional Skills: Must have solid experience in federal court and demonstrated expertise in legal writing and oral advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage all phases of property and casualty insurance litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and responses.
- Client Representation: Represent clients in both state and federal courts, specializing in first-party and bad faith insurance litigation.
- Strategic Counsel: Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on insurance litigation issues, offering insights to guide case outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a team of attorneys on litigation strategies and effective case management.
