Title: Property and Casualty Business Analyst
Location: Northeastern Region
Description:
The Property and Casualty Business Analyst will build strong relationships with operational teams to gain a deep understanding of business needs. This role supports technology initiatives by analyzing workflows, gathering requirements, performing data mappings, and documenting processes to improve operational efficiency. The position also involves collaborating with stakeholders to recommend and implement workflow enhancements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Accountabilities:
Evaluate information from various internal and external sources to develop logical solutions.
Recommend process and workflow improvements.
Analyze upstream and downstream impacts of system changes.
Determine organizational needs, operational requirements, and compliance obligations.
Document requirements, designs, and testing for technology projects.
Create and deliver training materials for end users.
Support compliance reviews and act as a consultant to address complex challenges.
Research industry systems and provide third-party vendor analysis.
Required Skills:
10 years of experience as a business systems analyst.
5-10 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance processes.
Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage with business leaders and staff.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Experience with third-party vendors and system implementation.
Familiarity with technologies such as SQL, XML, HTML, and related tools.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with external systems relevant to the insurance industry.
