About the Job
*Position Summary
This position will be an instrumental contributor to our accounting department which handles daily financial functions for the mobile home communities' operations, from accounts payable to financial statement preparation. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this position focuses heavily on review and analysis of the general ledger and financial statements, while working with other personnel within the organization to complete the accounting tasks.

*Position Performance Objectives
- Reconcile multiple monthly bank statements for assigned portfolio.
- Accurately complete between 15 to 20 monthly financials by designated due date.
- Analyze monthly financial statements and prepare financial summaries.
- Monitor daily bank balances.
- Review and approve accounts payable and mortgage statements.
- Post journal entries as needed.
- Update/input annual, mid-year, and phasing budgets as needed.
- Provide support to the Property Management Team for accounting-related issues.
- Collaborate and consult with third-party vendors to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Complete special projects and tasks as assigned.
- Calculate and record appropriate amortization schedules for property taxes and insurances.
- Prepare draft budgets for assigned properties.
*Key Competencies
- Experience with Rent Manager and AvidXchange preferred.
- Expert in financial analysis and problem-solving ability.
- Must be able to consistently achieve high-level work standards, have attention to detail, be accurate, and timely.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills required.
- Strong Excel skills (V look-up, Pivot Tables).
- Follow up and follow through to complete assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate initiative with the ability to work independently as well as on team.
- Be accountable in all aspects of job duties.
*Physical Requirements
- Has the ability to work at the corporate office in front of a computer screen/typing approximately 90% of a typical working day.
- Has the ability to bend, reach and lift boxes and office supplies up to 30 pounds.
*Experience requirements
- 2+ years' experience in property management accounting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, must have.
- CPA, desired.

Compensation/Position Details
- $65,000 to $80,000 annually (hourly position)
- Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week
